I will be co-editing a book on the use of the creative therapies with the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, and questioning (LGBTQ) population with Dr. Shay Harris. It has been accepted for publication by Charles C. Thomas Publishers. I am looking for chapter proposals on art, play, dance, music, drama, psychodrama, poetry, animal assisted therapy, and other creative/expressive therapies with a specific focus on issues critical for this population. Chapters on individual, family, and group approaches are welcome. Also, if you engage in creative art therapies supervision, we are welcoming chapters that combine supervision with the creative therapies and the LGBTQ population.  Additionally, of interest are chapters dealing with legal and ethical issues with respect to the LGBTQ population and the creative arts.

Instructions to Prospective Authors: After selecting the creative modality that is your area of expertise, please narrow your focus to one of the following subcategories – work with children/teens, adults, or families.

This will be highly competitive as we are only selecting a limited number of chapters.
